About Activating

To obtain a user name and password you will need to activate an account using either an activation code from the new teaching pack OR your existing pre June 2008 password.

You will have received a password activation code during your Energy Foresight Training.


New Users
New 2008 EditionUsers of the new Energy Foresight materials can find their activation code in the new teaching packs, usually on the box of the CD-ROM/DVD.
 
Pre June 2008 Users
Older Edition If you have been using the pre June 2008 materials you can upgrade your account using your old password (with the spaces removed) as the activation code .

You can update your user name and password once your account is activated but your username should be unique to you.

STEP 1: You will need to create a user name and enter a contact email. The user name must be unique to you and only contain alphanumeric characters. Once an activation code has been used it cannot be used to create a new account for another user.

STEP 2: Enter details of your full name and school or organisation. This information is for verification only.

STEP 3: Your activation code now becomes your password and is used with your user name to log in to the site.

FAQ

I used to log in with an old password before the new materials - why can't I use that?
All users now require both a user name and a password. Your old password is waiting for you to activate your new account. You just need to choose a user name and verify your details.
 
Activating with my password doesn't work!
When entering the old passwords as activation codes please remove ALL SPACES and enter the password IN CAPITALS.
It is also possible that if you shared your password or code and someone has already activated it. If that is the case contact us for a new activation code.
